Important Water Quality Meeting

An important Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) workshop has been set for August 21 at 10:00 a.m. in Tulare at the Southern California Energy Energy Education Center to discuss proposed regulations (General Order) that will affect every landowner or operator irrigating agricultural lands in the Southern San Joaquin Valley.

Water Run Update 2012

Alta Irrigation District will be turning off its delivery of surface water to landowners in mid-August 2012. Water run was initiated on May 09, 2012 and has run continuously until the projected turnoff date.  Alta Irrigation District will not be holding any additional water in reserve in Pine Flat Dam except for the required amount for enviromental purposes or existing contractual commitments.

New Cycle & Entitlement

A new cycle & entitlement will take effect on May 24, 2012. The new allocation formula will be 3 days per 20 acres at 100% entitlement.  To see the Water Cycle Schedule, click here.

All allocations are subject to change upon review of storage, schedule and forecast information.
